PINEHURST -- Goldsboro's Matt Hall shot a second-day 76 and placed sixth overall individually in the 2015 N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 2-A boys' championship meet.
Hall posted a two-day total of 157 on the Pines Course at Whispering Pines Country Club.
"His final three nine-hole scores were 38s," first-year GHS head coach Anthony Hall said. "You can see how close he was (to being state runner-up). I am very proud of the entire team and the goals we were able to accomplish this year."
