GREENSBORO -- Results of Charles B. Aycock, Eastern Wayne and Southern Wayne athletes who participated in the season-ending N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 3-A state track and field championship meet contested at the JDL Track on the campus of N.C. A&T State University:
GIRLS
100 -- 1. Courtney Warner (CBA), 11.80 seconds; 6. Cierra Thompson (SW), 12.36. 200 -- 1. Warner (CBA), 24.23; 13. Takeitha Glaspie, 26.13. Long jump -- 4. Natasha Johnson (EW), 17 feet, 4 1/2 inches.
BOYS
Long jump -- 6. Romello Hamilton (EW), 20-9 3/4. 800 relay -- 4. Eastern Wayne (Blake Hartsfield, Hamilton, Dayshawn Pridgen, KK Best), 1:31.56.
NCHSAA Class 2-A
East Regionals
(at Beddingfield HS)
WILSON -- Results of Goldsboro High athletes who participated in the 2015 N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 2-A eastern regional track and field championship meet contested Saturday at Beddingfield High School. Editor's note: The top four finishers advance to the state championship meet.
GIRLS
