Chargers post shutout on tennis court

Wayne Country Day swept the singles courts and handed county rival Wayne Christian an 8-0, non-conference loss on Monday afternoon.
Sam Dively, Hunter Hawkins, Preston Edwards, Young Wang, Lance Davis and Nolan Davis each emerged victorious in straight-set fashion in singles play. Edwards, and Lance and Nolan Davis each posted a 6-0, 6-0 decision.
Wang-Stanley Zahn and Grey Langston-Charlie Dees completed the shutout.
Wayne Country Day (4-5 overall) visits Oakwood on Thursday.
