North Duplin falls to Lakewood on baseball diamond

Bryce Best delivered a two-hit, three-RBI outing as North Duplin dropped an 8-4 decision to Lakewood in a Carolina 1-A Conference game Tuesday evening.
Copeland Brickland, Ced Kornegay and Boone McNeil each had one hit. Carlos Rodriguez contributed an RBI.
Colby Bass endured the pitching loss.
