Three Golden Falcons claim ECC 3A-4A track crowns

WINTERVILLE -- Three Charles B. Aycock athletes returned home as Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference track and field champions upon conclusion of the season-ending meet held at South Central High School on Wednesday.
Joseph Mooneyham won the 1,600- and 3,200-meter gold medals. Senior TJ Morrow placed first in the 400 dash. Alston Best recorded the top throw in the discus competition.
