Saints fall to Hawks in non-conference play

Chad Ginn and Orlando Cannon combined for a two-hit shutout as North Lenoir beat non-conference foe Southern Wayne 8-0 on Wednesday.
The duo combined for eight strikeouts.
Braxton Greene led the Hawks with two hits and two RBI. Ethan Pittman, Orlando Cannon and Garrett Letchworth each had two hits.
Weather permitting, North Lenoir (3-2 overall) visits Wilson Fike today. Southern Wayne (2-7) plays host to New Bern on Friday.
