Preps digest: JV, middle schools

Baseball: Charles B. Aycock 10, Greene Central 4 -- The Golden Falcons scored four runs in the fourth inning to gain control against the Rams. The fourth-inning rally came by way of a passed ball, a two-RBI single by Cody Whaley and an RBI single by Nolan Harrell. Zack Mott scored three runs. Nick Aycock got the win on the mound. He struck out three in two innings of work.
Middle schools
* Girls' soccer: Dillard 4, Rosewood 0 -- McKayla Roberts scored two goals for Dillard. T'Ziah Kelly and TaiRonnica Davis also each added a goal. Octavia Burns had the shutout in goal. Dillard is 3-0-1 overall and travels to Norwayne on Monday.
