Aycock nets shutout of county foe Southern Wayne

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock posted three straight-set shutouts in singles play and handed county rival Southern Wayne a 9-0 loss.
The Golden Falcons improved to 2-0 against their 3-A opponents in the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference.
Chas Hooks, Stanton Head, Nick Coston, Brock Painter, Matt Hare and Blake Stephens each prevailed in singles. Hooks-Coston, Stephens-Head and Hare-Painter completed the sweep in doubles.
