JK's Pridgen claims medalist honors

KENLY -- James Kenan's Cole Pridgen earned medalist honors during a six-team Carolina 1-A Conference meet contested on the Cardinal Country Club links.
The Tigers had a 404 team score.
Jeremy Mercer logged an 81 and Dylan Champion carded an 88 for Rosewood, which placed second overall with a four-player total of 360. Dylan Greene and Cameron Klages contributed 18-hole rounds of 92 and 99, respectively.
Spencer Woodard led Princeton with an 87. Matt Herring logged Spring Creek's lowest score with a 99. North Duplin's lone competitor, Hunter Brock, turned in an 85.
Lakewood posted the best team score -- 352.
