Wayne Christian's Floars emerges as top finisher in meet

WILSON -- Blake Floars earned medalist honors with 40 and Wayne Christian defeated runner-up Freedom Christian 197-221 during a five-team played at Wilson Country Club.
Ethan McKenzie complimented Floars with a 9-hole score of 43. Teammates Michael Singletary and Drake Wise shot 55 and 59, respectively.
Joey Democko paced Wayne Country Day with a 50. Matt Kierski shot 55, followed by Lee McDonald (60) and Charlie Roethling (62). The Chargers finished third overall at 227.
Greenfield and Pope John Paul also participated.
