OFFENSE -- Rayvonne Barnes (Goldsboro): Rushed for 178 yards, including a 68-yard touchdown run in Cougars' 39-12 victory over South Lenoir in Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference opener for both teams.
DEFENSE -- Sterling Dodson (Goldsboro): Junior linebacker had four tackles for loss and helped defensive unit hold South Lenoir to 60 yards of total offense and one third-down conversion in the second half.
