Warriors' Hamilton almost gets double-double against JH Rose

Naheria Hamilton flirted with a double-double in Eastern Wayne's 16-25, 18-25, 14-25 loss to perennial powerhouse J.H. Rose in an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference match Thursday evening.
Hamilton collected seven kills and eight blocks. Jenna Rouse chipped in five kills, two blocks and served two of the Warriors' seven aces. Chelsea Wynn contributed three blocks, while Casey Young's stat line included oufr kills, two aces and eight digs.
Sarah Rice led the defense with 16 digs. Trisha Bell logged seven digs.
"The energy in that gym last night was very good both sides," first-year EW coach Jackie Lewis said. "They played great last night."
The Warriors entertain D.H. Conley on Tuesday.
