Gators turn back Bulldogs in Carolina 1A girls' tennis

Spring Creek clinched match point just before darkness fell and the Gators defeated Carolina 1-A Conference Princeton 5-3 on Wednesday.
The No. 2 seed doubles match did not get played.
Magen Jones, Madelyn Coates and Cassie Alphin won back-to-back-to-back matches on the singles courts and Mackenzie Evans won the No. 6 seed match to give the Gators four singles points.
Three Gators won tiebreakers.
Grace West-Jones clinched the match on the doubles court.
Mackenzie Smale and Nicole Evans won singles matches for Princeton. Evans-Mackenzie Evans also won 8-6 in the No. 3 seed doubles match.
Rosewood travels to Spring Creek on Tuesday for a rematch.
