Wayne Country Day scored twice in the contest's first three minutes and never looked back during a 5-0, non-conference rout of Neuse Christian on Thursday afternoon.
Tony Townsend had two goals and an assist to lead the Chargers. Jacob Magera, Charlie Roethling and Noah Adkins also each added a goal.
"It was a good performance from the lads today and they deserved the win," WCDS head coach Steven Ellis said. "We came out of the gates fast and the early goal set us up for the rest of the game."
The Chargers (7-3-1 overall) got everyone into the game and even with a new back line, they still posted a clean sheet.
