Michel scores twice, Saints now 7-0-1 on soccer pitch

PIKEVILLE -- Ranked among the area's leading scorers, Peterson Michel collected both goals in Southern Wayne's 2-0 victory over county and Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference rival Charles B. Aycock on Thursday evening.
Michel converted a first-half free kick and connected on a second-half penalty kick. Michel has eight goals this season for the Saints, who own a 4-3-1 record on the pitch against the Golden Falcons since 2010.
Aycock suffered its second straight shutout loss in ECC play.
