James Kenan builds lead, defeats Rosewood

WARSAW -- Rosewood couldn't overcome a two-goal deficit at halftime and fell to defending Carolina 1-A Conference champion James Kenan, 3-1, on Tuesday evening.
Max Hernandez scored twice for the Tigers.
Daniel Aburto knocked in a penalty kick for the Eagles 16 minutes into the second half, but the comeback effort came up short.
Rosewood (2-2-1 overall) faces Neuse Charter on Monday.
