North Lenoir rallied from a two-goal deficit after halftime, but fell 4-3 to Wilson Fike on Wednesday evening.
Braxton Greene found the net twice in the second half on assists from Mike Bednarz.
Later, Chad Ginn got a hard rebound off the keeper and hit a rocket shot from 35 yards out to give his team the lead. But only temporarily.
Fike was able to beat to beat keeper Jacob Baird two more times and win -- despite Baird's solid showing in net with 12 saves.
North Lenoir (3-6-1 overall) travels to East Duplin next Tuesday.
