Rocky Mount hands C.B. Aycock first loss in tennis this season

ROCKY MOUNT -- Ashton Walker claimed the lone singles point during Charles B. Aycock's 7-2, non-conference loss to perennial 3-A juggernaut Rocky Mount on Wednesday afternoon.
The Golden Falcons' tandem of Casie Belom-Cassidy Coerver squeezed past the Gryphons' Allison Binkley-Katie Mizelle, 9-7, at No. 2 doubles.
C.B. Aycock (8-1 overall) entertains New Bern today.
