* Volleyball: Hobbton d. Goldsboro 25-27, 25-3, 25-10 -- Jaiquiera Braswell had five kills and Tawanna Jones added three for the Cougars. Ashlee Falconer and Kelsey Kennedy each had four aces. Juanita Cortes-Torres had six assists in the losing effort.
* Volleyball: East Duplin d. North Lenoir 25-22, 25-15 -- Madison Cottle had three kills and J'lesa Sauls had five service points for the Hawks. North Lenoir (5-4 overall) travels to Kinston today.
