Injuries and illnesses couldn't slow down Wayne Country Day during its 25-14, 25-9, 25-14 victory over Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A foe Greenfield on Tuesday.
The injuries caused changes in the rotations, but didn't stop the Chargers from having four players with five or more kills.
Tiffany Larsen led the way with eight kills. Stephanie Schappell and Olivia Dively each had six and Sarah Crooks had five.
Crooks and Dively combined for eight aces. Rachel Uzzell handed out 20 assists.
WCDS visits Trinity Christian-Fayetteville on Thursday.
