ECBL: Kornegay, Davis spark CBA Blue

Charles B. Aycock Blue had four players turn in multi-hit performances during a 9-5 victory over Rosewood in Eastern Carolina Baseball League play Wednesday evening.
Cameron Kornegay and Kyle Davis had three hits apiece for CBA Blue. Ashton McGee (two RBI) doubled in a 2-for-4 effort. Trent Herndon batted 2-for-4 with a double.
Charlie Robertson tripled in three at-bats.
Davis claimed the mound win, striking out three and walking five batters in a six-inning stint.
Jacob DuBose homered and collected three RBI for Rosewood. Teammate Ethan Chapin endured the pitching loss.
C.B. Aycock Blue (4-2 overall) visits Snow Hill today. First pitch is 6 p.m. on the James R. Fulghum Athletic Complex diamond at Greene Central High School.
