Game Day: Post 11 travels to Duplin-Sampson

Early-evening thunderstorms washed out the Wayne County Post 11-Apex Post 124 baseball game Saturday evening. The Area I non-division contest will not be rescheduled.
Wayne County (6-4-1 overall) is the guest of Area II member Duplin-Sampson Post 127 today. First pitch is 7 p.m. at Darkhorse Field on the Clinton Middle School campus. Post 11 won the previous meeting by the mercy rule.
