ECBL: Spring Creek upends Southern Wayne White, 4-2

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Sawyer Smith turned in a three-hit performance during Spring Creek's 4-2 triumph over Southern Wayne White in an ECBL game contested at "The Swamp."
Landon Smothers provided two hits and an RBI. Will Rouse had one hit and one RBI.
Smothers emerged as the winning pitcher. He allowed two earned runs on four hits, walked four batters and struck out four in a complete-game effort on the bump.
Noah Horton, Manny Walker, Peter Taylor and Matt Stott each had one hit for Southern Wayne White. Kolby Anderson endured the pitching defeat.
Spring Creek (7-7 overall) entertains North Lenoir Green on Monday.
