* Baseball: J.H. Rose 5, C.B. Aycock 4 -- Charles B. Aycock grabbed the lead with three-run, seventh-inning rally, but Rose escaped with the win in the bottom of the eighth inning Friday afternoon. Chandler Matthews led the Golden Falcons (11-4 overall) with three hits, including a double. Cameron Kornegay had two hits. Bryce Anders, Caleb Smith, Christopher Turner and Chandler Gentry rounded out the hitting. Matthews took the mound loss.
