CLINTON -- Rosewood senior Nick Adams earned medalist honors with a 4-under par 67 during a Carolina 1-A Conference meet contested on the Timberlake Golf Club links.
James Kenan's Cole Pridgen and Lakewood's Griffin Faircloth each posted an 18-hole round of 1-under 70. North Duplin's Hunter Brock and Spring Creek's Kyle Stone each carded a 78.
Three-time defending conference champion Rosewood posted a season-best team score of 328. Jeremy Mercer had an 86. Alex Brogden and Dylan Greene provided rounds of 87 and 88, respectively.
"The boys really rebounded from a poor performance on our home course on Tuesday," RHS head coach Daniel Baynes said. "We were disappointed with the loss to Lakewood, but they played really well and deserved the victory. Both Griffin and Tim White are consistent golfers, and the rest of their team have played well all season.
"It looks like this new conference will be good in golf for years to come."
Lakewood logged a 335, followed by Spring Creek (378), Princeton (379), North Duplin (393) and James Kenan (401).
