Spring Creek knocks off South Lenoir

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Spring Creek scored all 10 of its runs in the first four innings and held off South Lenoir, 10-8, on Wednesday evening.
Logan Miller, Allen Coor, Will Rouse and Hunter Walker each had two-hit performances. Sawyer Smith, Matt Rogers and Levi Miller rounded out the Gators' 11-hit attack.
Spring Creek used six pitchers. Will Rouse, who started, got the win going three innings giving up two runs on four hits. Chad Spurgeon shut down South Lenoir in the seventh for the save.
Spring Creek (12-2 overall) travels to Lakewood on Friday.
