Golden Falcons' Warner wins 100, 200 dashes

Courtney Warner ran the 100-meter dash in 11.95 seconds to take home the win for C.B. Aycock in an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference meet contested at J.H. Rose on Wednesday afternoon.
Warner also placed first in the 200 with a regional qualifying time of 25.4 seconds. Klara Doyle (100 hurdles), Taylor Daniels (400 and 800) also won individual events for the Golden Falcons.
The 800 relay team of Daniels, Precious Reid, Jani Smith and Kristin Denning also took home a first place finish.
C.B. Aycock (17-3 overall) finished second in the meet to J.H. Rose with 73 points. Rose finished with 105 points, D.H. Conley had 36 and Southern Wayne had 30 for a fourth place finish.
