Wood rips two homers, Bulldogs crush Wildcats

A 10-run first inning propelled Princeton to a 19-0 mercy-rule victory over Hobbton in Carolina 1-A conference play Tuesday.
Hailey Wood belted two home runs and a triple, and drove in four runs for the Bulldogs. Taylor Carroll had four hits including two doubles and a triple.
Princeton pounded out 23 hits on the evening.
Beth Braswell got the pitching win for the Bulldogs striking out 5 and walking none in four innings of work.
Princeton (9-4 overall) remained unbeaten in seven league games this season.
