Warrior grapplers split tri-meet

BAILEY -- Eastern Wayne dominated Tarboro 63-9 and fell to Southern Nash 48-30 during a non-conference tri-meet on Tuesday evening.
Heavyweight Bryan Wooten, Mario Harper (106), Cole Steiner (113), Cainen Miller (126), Brice Heller (132), Ryshon Rodwell (138), Justice Johnson (152), Quadrick Williams (160), Julian Bruton (170), Jamal Barrett (195) and Rashaun Pridgen (220) each picked up an individual win against Tarboro.
Heller, Rodwell, Johnson, Williams, Barrett and Wooten each emerged victorious against the host Firebirds.
Eastern Wayne (4-9 overall) is the guest of J.H. Rose today.
