North Duplin girls fall to Neuse Charter

SELMA -- Neuse Charter held off North Duplin 42-39 in the Carolina 1-A Conference opener for both teams Tuesday evening.

Shaily McCarty led the Rebels with 14 points and Jordan Jones scored 12. Dominique Dakin finished with 25 points for Neuse Charter.

North Duplin (0-5 overall, 0-1 CC) plays host to Lakewood on Thursday.
