Aycock grapplers knock off DH Conley

HOLLYWOOD -- Charles B. Aycock collected seven pins and 10 total individual victories during a 57-24 triumph over D.H. Conley on the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference scene Wednesday evening.
The Golden Falcons started the match with four consecutive wins, including pins by Zack Howard (120), Jacob Dickenson (132) and Jeannautica Jnes (138). Joshua Wallace (152), Ryan Morton (182), Matt Teachey (285) and Ty Marquard (106) also pinned their respective opponents.
Jarrett Paynter scored an 8-4 decision over the Vikings' Ben Bullock at 160 pounds. Garrett Steers drew Aycock's lone forfeit.
The Golden Falcons (6-5 overall, 2-1 ECC) are off until Dec. 28 when they play host to the annual Terry Pilkington Memorial Duals.
