Epiphany sweeps WCDS on CPIC volleyball scene

Wayne Country Day battled, but fell short in a 25-27, 13-25, 23-25 loss against Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference foe Epiphany on Wednesday night.
Sarah Crooks led the Chargers with 20 digs and nine kills. Bailee Creger added seven kills and two digs. Rachel Uzzell dished-out 17 assists.
Wayne Country Day (5-8 overall) plays host to Greenfield today.
