Golden Falcons net ECC tennis shutout

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock defeated South Central 9-0 on Thursday afternoon in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference play.
Ashton Walker, Rachel Jackson, Casie Belom, Cassidy Coerver, Kassidy Pitchford and Megan Parrish were victorious in singles play for the Golden Falcons. The teams of Walker-Jackson, Belom-Coerver and Parrish-Haley Creech also won.
Aycock (12-4 overall, 10-1 ECC) entertains Eastern Wayne on Tuesday.
