Wayne Christian rallies, gets first win of the season

Wayne Christian rallied from two sets down for its first win of the season in a 22-25, 20-25, 25-9, 25-18, 17-5 victory over Carolina Christian 1-A Conference foe Trinity Christian of Raleigh on Thursday evening.
Brooke Slusher led the Eagles with eight aces. Reagan Taylor and Holly Gurley each supplied four aces. Hannah Sladick provided three kills and two blocks. Kaylin Darden had four aces and Holly Gurley added three aces.
Wayne Christian (1-5 overall, 1-2 CCC) plays host to Spring Creek today.
