Robert Gonzalez scored on a 1-yard touchdown run and also caught a 50-yard touchdown pass from Joe Hayes. Dee South returned a fumble 65 yards for a score and Nation Best added a 14-yard touchdown run. Best finished with 70 yards on 10 carries. Blake Hartsfield tacked on a 19-yard rushing touchdown.
Darren Demps led the defense with 10 tackles and three assists. South had three stops and seven assists. Best tallied six tackles and four assists.
Eastern Wayne plays host to Greene Central on Sept. 12.
