Lejeune nips North Duplin

JACKSONVILLE -- North Duplin had trouble keeping Lejeune off the basepaths in a 7-5 setback on Monday afternoon.
Taylan Lewis led the Rebels with two hits, including an RBI double. Mitchell Thigpen added two hits and two runs scored. Blake Rhodes finished with two hits. Trey Pate delivered one hit and two RBI.
Cody Ivey suffered the loss on the pitcher's mound.
North Duplin entertains Lejeune on Friday.
