Saints held to two hits in ECC road loss

CLAYTON -- Southern Wayne never got its offense on track in a 4-0 loss at Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference foe Cleveland on Wednesday afternoon.
The Saints managed just two hits as a team. Jacob Sasser and Thomas Kelly each delivered one hit.
Jackson Hayes suffered the loss on the pitcher's mound.
Cleveland starter Kodi Whitley tossed a complete-game for the win.
Southern Wayne (3-2 overall, 1-1 ECC) entertains Spring Creek today.
