Beckert throws two-hit shutout

SPIVEY'S CORNER -- Rosewood used a sterling pitching performance to outlast Midway 5-0 on Monday.
Amanda Beckert delivered a two-hit shutout in the pitcher's circle for the Eagles.
Alicia Burns led the Rosewood offense with three hits and one RBI. Charlotte Kornegay added three hits and Haley Mercer finished with two hits.
Rosewood (3-0 overall) plays host to Wilson Fike today.
