Rosewood grapplers split with Tarboro, North Pitt

TARBORO -- Shyhieem Peterson and Blake Dean collected late-match victories to lead Rosewood past Tarboro, 48-32, in a non-conference tri-meet contested at Martin Middle School.
North Pitt prevailed in four of the final five individual bouts and handed Rosewood a 51-28 loss. The Eagles exited 4-4 overall.
Kenny Moser (220 pounds), heavyweight Rayquan Jones, Samuel Drew (126), Nick Quillen (132), Jordan Batson (145), Chad Keefer (170), Peterson (182) and Dean (195) each picked up a win against Tarboro.
Chris Gladson (106), Matt Cruz (113), Drew (132), Quillen (138) and Josh Drew (170) each triumphed against North Pitt.
