Wayne Christian trips up CCC power Crossroads Christian

HENDERSON -- Wayne Christian played its best match of the season and upended two-time defending Carolina Christian 1-A Conference champion Crossroads Christian 27-25, 25-23, 25-23 on Wednesday afternoon.
Katie Isenhower paced the Eagles with 10 aces and eight kills. Katie Caviness finished with seven kills and eight assists. Reagan Taylor and Morgan Foss each tallied seven digs.
Wayne Christian (2-4 overall, 2-2 CCC) travels to Northwood Temple on Friday.
