FAYETTEVILLE -- Wayne Country Day suffered a 25-19, 25-16, 25-8 loss on Thursday evening at Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference foe Freedom Christian.
Rachel Uzzell distributed 10 assists for the Chargers to go with four digs. Sarah Crooks added five digs, four aces and three kills. Bailee Creger contributed six digs and Jessica Zhou supplied seven digs.
Hannah Pearson had five digs, four kills and four blocks.
Wayne Country Day (7-4 overall, 0-3 CC) plays host to Epiphany on Tuesday.
