ECC leader Eastern Wayne blanks South Johnston

Eastern Wayne blanked Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference foe South Johnston 9-0 on Thursday afternoon.
Savannah Sutton, Faith Sutton, Grace Delbridge, Blake Govan, McKenna Dove and Cameron Dove each earned a singles win for the Warriors. The doubles teams of Sutton-Sutton, Delbridge-Govan and Dove-Dove also prevailed.
Eastern Wayne (8-1 overall, 6-0 ECC) travels to Triton on Monday to resume a match that was halted by rain on Sept. 6.
