Pate notches hat trick for Goldsboro

Goldsboro overcame a slow start and rallied past Nash Central 4-2 on Wednesday night.
Damon Pate led the Cougars' offense with three goals, all in the second half. Peterson Innocent added the fourth Goldsboro goal.
Goldsboro (2-6-0 overall) opens its Carolina 1-A Conference schedule at Rosewood on Sept. 24.
