BURGUS RAY EZZELL

Burgus Ray Ezzell, 78, metal fabricator and millwright of Odom's Mill section near Mount Olive, passed from this life Sunday morning.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Whitfield officiating.

Burial will be in Holloman Family Cemetery.

Mr. Ezzell was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Darden Ezzell; his parents, Norman and Mattie Hare Ezzell; two brothers, Steve and Tommy Ezzell; an infant brother, Norman Ezzell Jr.; and an infant sister, Evelyn Ezzell.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry E. and Mitchell Davis; a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Rebekah Ezzell; two grandchildren, Marshall Ezzell and Abigail Ezzell; and a great grandson, Atticus Wolfe, all of Mount Olive; three sisters, Doris E. Southerland of Bayboro, Angie Blake and companion, Tommy Kornegay, of Maple Hill, and Becky Ward of Turkey; three brothers, Norbert "Pa" Ezzell of Albertson, Dennis Ezzell and wife, MayBelle, and Dwight Ezzell and wife, Betty, all of Warsaw; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and at the home at other times.
