Bertha Mae Foster, 89, 302 South Alabama Ave. died Saturday at Brian Center Nursing Home.

She was born to the late William and Mary Woodard Hill on Saturday, March 9, 1929 in Wayne County.

The triumphant homegoing service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Goldsboro Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Precious memories are held dear by her children, Patricia Patrick, Herman Moreland Foster III all of Goldsboro and Shelley Foster of the home; one sister, Annie M. “Sweet” Hill of Goldsboro; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Sister Foster will lie in repose at the Haskins Funeral Home Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The family will assemble at residence in preparation for the funeral cortege.
