Edward Lee “Eddie” Honrine Jr., 50, Stantonsburg, passed away suddenly on Saturday.

Eddie was born July 9, 1968, in Wayne County to Ed and Linda Honrine, of Stantonsburg.

He was employed as a plumber with Stallings Plumbing, Heating and Air Condition in Kinston.

Eddie had a wonderful sense of humor and never took himself too seriously. He loved all types of sports but especially, enjoyed watching high school baseball. Eddie will be remembered by many for being a big North Carolina State fan.

A service to celebrate Eddie’s life will be Wednesday, August 1, at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home chapel, with his pastors, Wesley and Nannette Newcomb, officiating. The family will greet friends Wednesday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of his parents. Interment will be Thursday, August 2, at 11 a.m. in Eureka Cemetery.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Teresa Joyner and her daughter, Abby; brother, Scott Honrine and wife, Tracy, and their children, Taylor, Jacob and Noah.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Cornerstone Fellowship.
