CAROL G. MALPASS
April 9, 1935-June 8, 2018
Carol Anne Geist Malpass, 83, Goldsboro, peacefully passed away Friday, June 8, 2018, at her home.
Carol was born in Lincoln, Neb., to the late Walter M. Geist and Dorothy Shook Geist.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert Jerrell “Bob” Malpass.
Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
A graveside service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Bob Bardin officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
Carol is survived by her four sons, Bruce Malpass and wife, Geneva, of Goldsboro, Mike Malpass and wife, Lillian, of Bethlehem, Ga., Paul Malpass and husband, Mark Hensley, of Greensboro and John Malpass of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Bert Malpass and wife, Allison, and Cam Malpass; two great-grandchildren, Anna Malpass and Molly Malpass; and a special niece, Cathy Blair of Lincoln, Neb.
