Retired United States Air Force Maj. Ollie Frank Webb, 87 passed away Monday, June 11, 2018, at Wayne UNC Health Care surrounded by his family. 

Frank was born in Red Level, Ala., Feb. 28, 1931, to the late Frank Webb and Velma Webb.

He served his country as a pilot in the United States Air Force.

After 20 years of military service, Frank was employed as an instructor at Wayne Community College and later at Walter Kidde.

A service to celebrate Frank’s life will be Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Interment will be Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park with full military honors.

Frank is survived by his wife, Carolyn Ginn Webb; his children, Tanya Graham, Terry Glenister and Donna Cayton; stepson, Dave Cloutier; stepdaughter, Linda Woodard; sister, Florene Thurston; and brothers, Robert Webb, Earl Webb and Joe Webb.

He was “Daddy Frank” to Jade Woodard and Regan Hannant and “Big Daddy” to Tim and Kimberly Graham.

Frank is also survived by a number of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Gibbs.
