Ms. Dorothy Croom Harris, 87, a resident at Goldsboro Assisted Living, passed on Friday, May 11, 2018, at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro.
The celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 11 a.m. at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, Goldsboro, N.C. She will be laid to rest at the Hooks Grove Church Cemetery, 290 Hooks Grove Road, Pikeville, N.C. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the family arriving to receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born on June 18, 1930, in Wayne County, N.C., to Charlie and Minnie Johnson Croom. She is survived by five daughters and one son.
Services of compassionate and distinguished class entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro.
