David Gene Guess, 71, died Friday at home.
The funeral is Monday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Burial is Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
He was born in Ethel, W.Va., on March 2, 1947, to the late Lloyd and Goldie Meeks Guess.
He is survived by his wife, Marlina J. Guess; a daughter; and three sons.
Visitation will follow the funeral service.
